Selen Bozdoğan

Selen Bozdoğan is a finance and risk professional with nearly a decade of experience in risk management, auditing, and compliance across the banking, insurance, and holding sectors. She is currently serving as Risk Manager at Sabancı Holding, responsible for preparing the group’s consolidated risk reports, setting overarching risk management standards, enhancing maturity levels across group companies, and conducting risk analyses for new investments. Previously held senior positions at Garanti BBVA, overseeing market and counterparty credit risk, conducting stress tests and scenario analyses, and preparing ICAAP reports.

Selen began her career as an Internal Auditor at Anadolu Insurance and Compliance Associate at Garanti BBVA Life and Pension, gaining strong expertise in regulatory compliance and operational risk. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bilkent University (High Honor, Full Scholarship) and an LL.M. in International Law from the University of Edinburgh (Jean Monnet Scholar). Certified FRM Level 1 and holder of Capital Market Activities Level 3 and Derivative Instruments Licenses. She is fluent in English, with advanced analytical and reporting skills.
